You don’t have a lead problem.
You have a fear-of-selling problem.
And it’s keeping you broke.
Here’s another lesson from my past, In 2018, I had 47 qualified leads in my pipeline.
Leads who:
→ Filled up a form with 11 questions
→ Opened my emails
→ Clicked my links
→ Booked discovery calls
→ Showed up on time
→ Had budget
💲 Sales I made: 3
Not because my offer was bad. Because I was terrified of selling.
Here’s what actually happened on those calls:
Lead: So how much is it?
Me: Well, um, it depends… we have different packages… what were you thinking budget-wise?
I was dancing around the price like it was a landmine.
Lead: Sounds interesting. Can you send me some information?
Me: Sure! No pressure at all! Take your time!
Translation: Please don’t reject me.
Out of 47 qualified calls, I closed 3.
🔻6.4% conversion rate.
Know what it should have been? 40-60%.
• I wasn’t losing deals because of price, product, or positioning.
• I was losing them because I was too scared to ask for the sale.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
→ Every time you say, I’ll send you more information…
→ Every time you add, “no pressure” to your pitch…
→ Every time you discount before they ask…
You’re not being helpful. You’re being scared😨.
The brutal reality most entrepreneurs won’t admit:
👉 Selling feels cringey because you’re afraid of hearing “no.”
And that fear shows up as:
→ I don’t want to be pushy
→ I don’t want to be salesy
→ I don’t want to pressure anyone
→ I want them to make the decision that’s right for them
👉👉 All bullshit excuses for: I’m terrified of rejection.
Here’s what changed everything for me:
One prospect said: “Can you just tell me the price and what I get. Stop dancing around it.”
🤯 I was shocked. Embarrassed. Exposed.
But it woke me up.
→ People don’t want you to be “not pushy.” They want you to be confident.
→ They don’t want “no pressure.” They want clear guidance.
→ They don’t want you to send more information. They want you to help them make a decision.
🚨⚠️ So I changed my approach:
→ Instead of: What were you thinking budget-wise?
I said: The investment is $5K. Here’s what you get.
→ Instead of: Take your time, no pressure.
I said: This is perfect for you. Let’s get started.
→ Instead of: I’ll send you information.
I said: Do you have any questions, or should we move forward?
And many other statements that are confidence driven.
The result?
Next 53 qualified lead in Aug 18.
Booked Calls: 39
Sales: 25 closed deals.
64% conversion rate.
Same offer. Same price. Same me.
The only difference: I stopped being afraid.
👉 Here’s what I learned:
Your fear of selling isn’t protecting your prospects. It’s robbing them of a solution.
And robbing you of revenue.
When you’re scared to sell:
→ You waste their time with endless “value” calls
→ You confuse them with too many options
→ You make them question if you believe in your offer
→ You let them leave without making a decision
→ You both walk away with nothing
Nobody wins!!!
🚨 The harsh truth nobody tells you:
If you truly believe your product helps people… Then NOT selling it aggressively is unethical.
You’re letting people stay stuck in their problem.
Because you’re more worried about protecting your ego than solving their problem.
I’ve built 300+ funnels, worked with 100+ entrepreneurs.
You know what separates six-figure entrepreneurs from broke ones?
Not their funnel. Not their offer. Not their traffic.
👉 Their willingness to ask for the sale.
Without apology. Without “no pressure.” Without dancing around the price.
⚠️ Here’s your new framework:
→ State your price with confidence.
→ Explain the value clearly.
→ Ask for the decision directly.
That’s it.
Stop protecting yourself from rejection. Start protecting your prospect from staying stuck.
The uncomfortable reality:
Every “no” you avoid hearing costs you a “yes” you could have closed.
Your prospect doesn’t need another “no pressure” call. They need someone confident enough to guide them to a decision.
Be that person🫵.
